This is a unique opportunity for an inside sales rockstar to utilize their skills, backed by a fully formed marketing and sales strategy.

Position Summary

The Appointment Setter supports the growth of CTSi by sharing the value provided by a partnership with CTSi with new prospects who are interested in more than simply a standard “computer guy” relationship. Cold and developed lists are provided, along with scripts, to call and schedule appointments for the CTSi sales team.

General Responsibilities

  • Follow established campaign steps with calls to book sales appointments (qualified calling lists are provided).
  • Expected to make an average of 50 calls every 8 hours of work during standard business hours (following all provided scripts).
  • Participate in staff and department meetings.
  • Respond positively to regular feedback for performance improvement.
  • Support and maintain the core principles of the organization.


Reports To

CTSi functions as a team, believing we are “better together.” This position will report to the President / CEO and Marketing Director. As a team player, the Appointment Setter is expected to participate in the growth of the company by providing feedback and ideas to move into strategic opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Calling/phone service experience is required (at least one year of experience in an inside sales position, preferably setting appointments in a business-to-business environment).
  • Enjoys having conversations with (and helping) small business owners.
  • Loves building relationships with people and providing a true “Wow”
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) –
    examples of writing will be requested.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate
    extraordinary attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks without getting lost in the details.
  • Ability to follow defined processes while seeing how they fit into a larger
    picture and looking for opportunities for improvement.
  • Quick, self-motivated learner who wants to work for a company that will
    invest in their development.
  • General technical competency and experience with standard business
    applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation applications (Keap)
