Position Summary

This position is responsible for assisting with the overall production, management, and implementation of various CTSi marketing activities and campaigns. An ideal candidate is one with a desire and intense motivation to learn about all aspects of business technology vertical marketing, aggressively apply their creativity and management strengths, and grow their experience and skills. CTSi functions as a team, believing we are “better together.” This position will report to the President / CEO and Marketing Director as well as other staff depending on the task at hand.

Marketing-Related Job Responsibilities

  • Acts as the primary point of contact (the hub) and overall project manager for both internal and external CTSi marketing resources including, but not limited to graphic designers, printers, copywriters, web designers, video production resources, and event contacts, etc.
  • Oversee the development and distribution of standard CTSi marketing pieces (print newsletters, print postcards, email newsletters, blog, and social media posts, and regular campaigns).
  • Manage marketing campaigns to existing and newly generated lists by identifying and qualifying new prospects, ensuring details are captured in the organization’s CRM, generating mailing lists, assembling mailers, managing CRM campaign pipelines, directing callers to support execution, and reporting on results.
  • Resource sales representative with contacts, resources, and support needed to execute campaigns and schedule appointments.
  • Serve as CRM database manager keeping records current and maintained.
  • Plan and coordinate marketing activities, events, and materials.
  • Assemble and maintain CTSi physical and/or digital Shock & Awe kit
  • Some sales calling is required.


General Responsibilities

  • Assist with answering phone calls.
  • Participate in staff and department meetings.
  • Help with client projects as requested.
  • Participate in training opportunities (primarily marketing, but others may be included).
  • Support and maintain the core values of the organization.


Job Requirements

  • Marketing experience is not a requirement but is helpful. Strategies are in place and training will be provided.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written); Examples of writing will be requested.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and resources.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate extraordinary attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks without getting lost in the details.
  • Ability to follow defined processes while seeing how they fit into a larger picture and looking for opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to test and document new marketing-related processes
  • Quick, self-motivated learner who wants to work for a company that will invest in their development.
  • Experience with standard business applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice to Have

  • Marketing experience.
  • Experience with marketing production and working with resources including graphic designers, printers, copywriters, web designers, and video production resources.
  • General understanding and experience in website CMS (Content Management Systems) such as WordPress.
  • Expertise with Adobe apps (i.e., Acrobat Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
  • General computer skills (MacOS and/or Windows).
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation applications (more specifically Infusionsoft/Keap). Photography and Video Production experience and skills would beneficial.
